This 18 hour course is designed to provide coaches with the foundation tools and material to deliver safe, engaging and functional soccer training sessions for youth players and novice players. This course is conducted in the English language. Successful candidates will receive an International Football Association Of Coaches and Teachers (UK) coaching qualification.
Following the Youth Diploma course graduating coaches will be offered the opportunity for a practical and observational internships. This is a tangible opportunity to work closely with and to receive professional mentoring from certified English FA & UEFA, EAC qualified coache in Singapore Malaysia Indonesia or UK.
All participating players are recommended to have adequate personal insurance before participation on the course. All participating players will be required to sign a waiver.
The Youth Diploma is the only football coaching course available in Asia that is designed and delivered by an English FA Educator.
The Youth Diploma does not prohibit players from participating based on age or experience.

Day 1 – Classroom Theory
Induction and registration 4 hours to include theory modules on:

Day 2 and Day 3 – Practical Sessions and on field activities demonstrations and discussion
Practical demonstration of various fun games and activity exercises suitable for children age 5 – 12, in total 6 games chosen from current formats and Youth Diploma coaching manual.
In line with new ideas in UK and International best practices to show the game in its easiest format that would be acceptable to pass the award, but also how to build and progress the practice for the older players.

Practical demonstration of elementary goalkeeping exercises suitable for children age 5 – 12.
In pairs, or groups of three, plan prepare and deliver a practice session of 2 or 3 activities based on the games and exercises shown on day 2 and/or 3. The tutor will give written and verbal feedback on the session to provide action plan points for individual assessments. Candidates will each have an input into the practice session in preparation for their own practice. This will also encourage students to work as a team. Sessions will last approx. 30 minutes.
Conclusion: Tutor assigns activities for final day assessment.
Homework: Prepare for final individual assessment
Individually assessed sessions 15 minutes in duration on theme assigned by the tutor. 4 hour session.
Final debrief and results, feedback and personal action plan for future.
Criteria to successfully pass this award is 100% attendance, participation, working with others and completion of all relevant tasks. Plus 1 mock and 1 individual assessed session.
